Last week-end I prepared with my little boy Choco-Banana Muffins. For this recipe we bought lonely, very ripe bananas. They're often discounted, sometimes browner than their other green/yellow counterparts, and they're the most likely to be thrown away.
For our Choco-Banana Muffins we need: 3 Large Ripe Bananas Mashed
3 Teaspoon of cacao
75 g Butter Melted
2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
75 g of White Sugar
150g of White Flour
Stir the bananas and melted butter together, add the beaten egg. In a separate bowl whisk the remaining dry ingredients. Once incorporated add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.
Bake for 35 minutes in a heat oven at 180°C. It's ready if a toothpick comes out clean.
We decorated the muffins with cranberries. We shared our muffins with our neighbours.
